Sarah Wilson
Optometrist/Owner

Sarah Wilson is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist and owner of Wilson Family Optometrists. After completing her studies at Queensland University of Technology, including clinical training at the University of Waterloo in Canada, she returned to the Sunshine Coast to provide high-quality, personalised eye care to her local community.
Sarah has a special interest in the management of anterior eye disease, glaucoma and dry eye disease. She is also a CASA-credentialed optometrist, certified to provide aviation eye examinations.
Known for her compassionate and thorough approach, Sarah takes the time to understand each patient's unique visual needs and is passionate about helping people maintain lifelong eye health through evidence-based care and clear communication.
Kate Rowland
Optometrist

Kate completed her studies at QUT in Brisbane, graduating with a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Optometry with Distinction in 2022. She is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, with a special interest in contact lenses, dry eye and myopia control. Kate also grew up in rural and regional towns throughout the NT and QLD, and as a result is passionate about rural health care.
Kate joined the Wilson Family Optometrist team in 2023. She values taking the time to provide comprehensive and personalised optometric care to her patients to ensure she addresses their individual needs and concerns.
Susanne Finch

Optometrist
Susanne Finch completed her optometry degree at Queensland University of Technology, graduating with first class honours. She later obtained therapeutic endorsement in 2015, expanding her scope of practice in the diagnosis and management of ocular conditions.
With more than 20 years of experience practising across rural New South Wales and North Queensland, Susanne brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a calm, approachable style of care to Wilson Family Optometrists. She has particular interests in ocular health, contact lenses, and children’s vision, and is passionate about early diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases and conditions to help preserve and improve vision for all ages.
Susanne is known for her warm, personalised approach and strong focus on patient education, ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their eye care.
